Journal contains much detailed information on social conditions among S Walden poor, total approx 50,000 words. Donated to the Town Library in 2000 by Jacqueline Cooper, who was given them by Rev David Monckton, a former Methodist minister of Saffron Walden, who found the volumes in the loft of the Methodist Church when he was minister here. |
