Saffron Walden in Old Photographs |
|
Index for captions in H.C. Stacey’s Saffron Walden in Old Photographs
(out of print, copy in Saffron Walden Town Library)
Index compiled by James R. Griffin
Note
The late Clerk of Saffron Walden, H.C. (Cliff) Stacey published a particularly interesting collection of photographs of the town. However it lacked an index, and since the captions provided considerable extra information, this has now been extracted and is compiled in index form as below. (1) The numbers for each entry relate to the photograph numbers, not page numbers. (2) This index follows the text, so ‘Billy’ will occur as well as ‘William’, etc.
